This is a small family owned business. The owners are Laotian and took over an existing pizza business. It's got the standard fair for a pizza place, with a decent $5 pizza slice + drink for lunch. The pizza is decent, not that special but tasty enough and does the trick for the price. The real winner here is the Laotian food tho. There's not much Laotian food around here, plenty of Chinese and Japanese, even some Vietnamese and Indian not too far away but their specialties set this place apart. We've had several of their specialties, the Chicken noodle soup and Ginger chicken being our favorites. The rice isn't bad either, and the Pad Thai is there if you aren't feeling adventurous and want something you've probably seen at Thai restaurants. The spices they use really help the food and flavors stand out from the other local Asian restaurants. Give them a try if you have the time and eat to support a local business!

I was in the area and decided to grab a bite when I saw they have pizza and Lao/Thai food?? Two of my favorite things!! I ordered the green curry pizza, padkra pow, and wings. The green curry pizza was unique and tasty - I'd def order again! They also have other different specialty pizzas on the menu. You also can't go wrong with the padkra pow if you're feeling a rice plate. Flavors were there and tasted authentic. Everything was really good and flavors were on point! The owner is also so friendly :) A perfect place for the days you can't decide what you want to eat!!

The Laotian dishes are definitely worth trying. The owner, Vean, and her team are friendly and bring a good vibe to the place.

I have been to this establishment, right across the street, a lot. I highly recommend the pizza and wings. However, tonight we tried the chicken Parmesan sandwich. Honestly only 2.5 stars. It was good enough, but not something I'd try again. Just bland flavor, and while I appreciate the Dutch Crunch roll, it was too dry to pair with the rest of the sandwich ingredients. Still a great local spot for pizza.

The first time we ordered from Monterey Pizza & Asian Zap, it was for a softball game at Glen Park. We ordered a couple regular pizzas, wings and mozzarella sticks. It was a win for our team, but nothing stood out off the bat. Recently we ordered delivery and decided to order the Green Curry Thai Chicken Pizza and the Asian ZAP wings. Holy Moly, now that's a game changer. We have had different combinations for pizza, but this was very unique. I had to convince myself that we were eating pizza. The Asian Zap wings were sweet and spicy, sticky but not too messy and delicious. The flavor was mild enough to give to my baby to try and she loved them and ate 3. We really liked this pizza spot and the unique items that make this place different from the rest.
